Panasonic KX-TES824 Telephone System

The Panasonic KX-TES824 advanced hybrid telephone system provides excellent value for small to medium sized businesses. The KX-TES824 provides many features seldom available on small systems including system speed dials, personal speed dials, internal/external music on hold. The system provides an initial capacity of 3 exchange lines and 8 extensions but with the addition of cards can easily expand up to 8 exchange lines and 24 extensions, these extensions can be standard telephones, cordless handsets or one of the Panasonic KXT77XX range of handsets.

Advanced Features

Caller ID

The Panasonic KX-TES824 is compatible with the optional Caller ID service, the user can see the callers information before the call is answered for better call management. This function can work on either standard CLI telephones or on the Panasonic KXT7730 and KXT7735 display key handsets. The display key handsets store the 20 most recent calls.

Day/Night Lunch Mode

This function can be used to change the programming of the telephone system according to the time of day. Extensions can be assigned to ring at different times of the day, for example after hours calls could be routed to an answer machine or to security staff. This feature can also prevent outgoing calls being made outside of normal working hours.

Door Phones, Door Openers and Doorbells

The Panasonic KX-TES824 supports up to 2 door phones. When a door entry is pressed a pre-designated internal extension rings allowing the extension user to speak to the visitor. The Panasonic KX-TES824 also allows the user to operate a door release mechanism, allowing the visitor to enter the building.

Fax Detection Card

The Panasonic KX-TES824 telephone system has the ability to detect incoming fax transmissions and route them directly to the fax machine. This means that the business no longer needs to have a dedicated fax line as all lines can be used for voice or fax.

Auto Attendant (DISA)

Auto Attendant is a feature that provides a "menu system" (3 levels), calls can be routed to the destination the incoming caller requires directly without going through an operator. Automatic greeting messages can be recorded by the operator or manager directing the caller to the appropriate department or destination. For example, Welcome to Chalvington Communications, to speak to the Sales Department press 1, for technical support press 2 or to speak to the operator press 3 (level 1). Additional option levels can then be added to the original options, for example, to check a fault press 1, to place a credit card order press 2, there would also be the option of another level. The DISA feature can drastically reduce the amount of call traffic handled by the operator allowing them time to spend with new or important customers. The basic package allows the user to record 3 minutes of messages. With the additional DISA expansion card recording time is increased to 6 minutes. The optional card also enables the system to play 2 messages simultaneously.

Voicemail/Message Card

The optional 2 channel voice message card ensures your business never misses an important call giving your customers the option to leave a message when are unavailable, the card records up to 60 minutes of messages. The Panasonic KX-TES824 voice messaging card provides mail boxes fro each extension. Each extension user can leave their own personalised message and callers can leave messages to appropriate mail boxes. When a message is left in a users mailbox a visual indication is given on the Panasonic system handsets.

KX-TE Maintenance Console Software

Simply connect a pc to the system via the in built USB interface and the software's intuitive graphic interface will do the rest, the system can also be programmed using KX-T7730 display key handset.

The Panasonic KX-TES824 is compatible with almost all handsets, Chalvington Communications recommends that each system has at least one display key handset, either the KX-T7735 or the KX-T7730 for programming purposes.

This handset provides a monitor speaker, 12 one touch dial keys, message waiting lamp/key, dual colour LED's and keys for transfer, conference, hold, redial, pause and recall.

Panasonic KX-T7720 12 Key Speaker Phone
This handset provides a speaker phone, 12 one touch dial keys, message waiting lamp/key dual colour LED's and keys for transfer, conference, hold, redial, pause and recall. This Panasonic handset also has the added convenience of an internal microphone that allows hands free speech.

Panasonic KX-T7730 12 Key Executive Display Phone
This executive phone has all the features of the Panasonic KX-T7750 and KX-T7720 phones plus a single line 16 digit alpha numeric display. At least one KX-T7730 or KX-T7735 handset is required for each system, as it is used for programming. A 2.5mm headset port has been added for efficient use of a headset.

Panasonic KX-T7735 24 Key Executive Display Phone
This executive phone has all the features of the KX-T7730 plus a large 3 line 16 digit alpha numeric display and 12 additional programmable keys.

Panasonic KX-T7740 DSS Console
This optional 32 one touch Direct Station Select Console provides a means to monitor and access lines and extensions.
